About Whisker Haven
Welcome to Whisker Haven! We are a non-profit 501c3 cat only rescue. Here at Whisker Haven, we are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating kittens from high-kill shelters, giving them a second chance at life. We specialize in neonate kittens, ensuring they receive the love and care needed to thrive. With commitment to socialization, we work hard to prepare each kitten for a loving, forever home.
Why We Started
Whisker Haven is a rescue organization that was founded out of love for cats and kittens. Our mission is to make a big impact by saving lives and keeping kittens out of high kill shelters and prevent them from being euthanized. Our President, Heather, who is also a Veterinary Technician at a local animal clinic, is dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of all the kittens we rescue.
How We Differ
Here at Whisker Haven, we differ from other rescue's and shelters. We do NOT kennel our cats and kittens unless being quarantined due to illness or too young to be out of a kennel due to safety. We only take in as many kittens as we can handle because of this. This way, we can focus on socialization and make sure that the kittens are well suited for homes with kids of all ages. All of the kittens in our home, or foster homes are treated as if they were our own cats/kittens. We love on them and let them free roam in our homes.
